Yellow Daffodil 2Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 30 March 2008 in Plant & Nature. **MANY THANKS FOR VISITING!!** *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Chris from South Jersey, United Statesvery delicate and beautiful. Have your daffodils come completely out yet? Ours were out a couple weeks ago and I don't think we are that far away from each other... 30 Mar 2008 12:15pm @Chris: Thanks. My first flush of daffodils are in full bloom. I have planted different varieties that bloom at different times in an attempt to extend the season. Hence. some are putting on buds and some are just peeking up through the ground. You will probably end us seeing many of them on by photoblog. :-) Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomSome nice detail in here and it is good you caught that green tinge that is so often present in the daffodil color. 30 Mar 2008 7:24pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceWonderful composition. What a delicacy! 30 Mar 2008 8:45pm Suzanne Labbé from Granby, CanadaVery nice picture Anita. Thanks for sharing :o) 30 Mar 2008 11:21pm @Suzanne Labbé: Thank you for visiting my photoblog! Paul Michko from Exton, PA, United StatesSplendid detail, Anita. I am really enjoying your spring bloom series. Don't you just love spring? 31 Mar 2008 10:20am Melissa W. from Warsaw, Indiana, United StatesThis is gorgeous! We don't have any blooms yet, so I'll just enjoy yours. :) 31 Mar 2008 1:39pm GJC from Kyoto, JapanReally like this, too, but I must confess that compositionally I think yesterday's is the stronger (and it may not really matter). The other seems to me at least slightly more interesting. But that's just my thought. 1 Apr 2008 3:45am @GJC: I agree completely. And, I appreciate your saying so. That helps me grow as a photographer. |
