A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Beautiful color, and my favorite is the DOF which is so effective at giving depth to the image, both spatial and visual. Very well framed as well. Would look lovely framed and hung.

I also felt delight at the composition. It's as though we are looking at a mirror with the back flower the reflection of the front. I gather you really did very well with the DOF; was there any way to get the rear most clump of the front flower as sharp as the others?
