A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Wonderful blue skies. I like the composition and the colors are great. I took a couple pictures at the same time but the wind was really blowing me around!! Nicely done.

I always admire these proportioned landscapes . . they seem to make a statement beyond what is shown. Nice balance to this one and I love the strategic placement of the clouds!

There were so many different ways you could have shot this landscape. I love your choice. The position of the clouds draws my imagination to speculating on just what is over that horizon.
