Lamb--One Week OldPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 12 March 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. I took this while he was peeking around the side of him mom. We have let him and the 2 sheep out into the larger pasture. He follows his mom everywhere, and is as frisky as lambs are reputed to be. THANK YOU FOR VISITING!! CONSTRUCTIVE CRITIQUE IS WELCOME. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

GJC from Kyoto, JapanYour lens is so gentle; every photo is taken with a sense of caring and appreciation, qualities that shine through your images like this one. 12 Mar 2008 2:02pm @GJC: Thank you so very much for your kind words. If "caring and appreciation" show in my photos, I am more than happy. I take photos of what I love. Chris from South Jersey, United StatesWonderful shot - lots of wonderful detail and lighting. I showed my wife your lamb shot the other day and she loved it (and started asking me if we could get sheep!!). 12 Mar 2008 2:12pm @Chris: Thank you, Chris. I look forward to photos of your sheep-to-come! ;-) @Sandrine: Thank you for visiting and commenting. Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesAnita, such a beautiful shot. The detail you've captured, here, in his face and coat is terrific. Beautiful composition, as well. 12 Mar 2008 2:35pm @Ron: Thank you. I was lucky to get this shot.
