Hibiscus 'Erin Rachel'Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 16 February 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Another Hibiscus from the Longwood Gardens conservatory. =======THANK YOU FOR VISITING!!!!======= *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Koushiro from Singapore, SingaporeReally nice! The colours are so rich too! Did you know the national flower of Malaysia is the hibiscus? 16 Feb 2008 11:47pm @Koushiro: I had no idea. «miguel.peixeiro» from Coimbra, Portugal...the red colour and the yellow´s too it´s very hard to capture, but your Hibisco are great. 17 Feb 2008 12:59am John Maslowski from Dallas,PA, United StatesVery lovely shot. Like how you composed a single flower and the lighting is perfect. Truly beautiful. 17 Feb 2008 2:05am Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesThe stamen is almost as beautiful as the flower. It definitely is trying to make a statement by standing tall. 17 Feb 2008 3:58am Kerri from Blacksburg, VA, United StatesFabulous image! Love that you captured it in full bloom and with a bud! Gorgeous! 17 Feb 2008 8:46pm Paul Michko from Exton, PA, United StatesThis one has the feel of a grand adventure. Very stunning composition, Anita. 19 Feb 2008 3:46pm |
