Milkweed Seedpod

Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 28 January 2008 in Plant & Nature.

Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca); native; Grows in meadows; 3-5 feet tall. Although the seeds are gone and the fluff has been compressed by rain and cold, I enjoy the shapes and subtle colors.
