I love hydrangeas! I lost mine a couple of years ago along with my entire front yard when we had to dig it all up because of an oil leak that contaminated our property. It was one of my saddest casualties of that whole mess. I tried to save it but without luck.

@Laurie: How sad to lose all your front yard plantings! We feared a leak from our underground tank, and were so relieved to have it replaced several years ago before any leaks sprung.
Great colors and I love the repitition. You sure took a lot of good pictures at Longwood Gardens!

@Chris: Thanks. Yes, I spent about 3 hours taking photos. I love flowers and love to photograph them.

Lovely colors, light and shape of the petals. You capture this very well. I visited Longwood little more than a year ago. It is a very beautiful place. I love the old buildings on the ground as well.
