Oak Leaf with FrostPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 2 January 2008 in Plant & Nature. Another Oak leaf, this time rimmed with frost. Taken on Sunday morning. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Chris from South Jersey, United Statesanother wonderful image - the two leaf images would make a great matched set of images. The black background is as good as the snow for setting off the leaf in the foreground, and the frost on the edges is great. 2 Jan 2008 4:23pm @Chris: Thanks for the idea of matched images! I may try doing something with them together. Sahyan from Thiruvananthapuram, Indiavery nice shot. I liked the color contrast, and of course the frost on the edges. 2 Jan 2008 4:56pm @Sahyan: Thank you! @Steven: Thanks. @Jhani: Good point. I really benefit from the comments of visitors. Thanks! |
