With my dog on Stewart Run

We discovered a beautiful preserve about 20 miles away in Lancaster County, PA, the Theodore A. Parker Natural Area. Named after an internationally known ornithologist born in Lancaster. 90 acres of woods surrounding a pristine stream, Stewart Run. What a great discovery!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

It sounds like a wonderful place to spend a day, just walking and enjoying being outdoors. Great portrait of you and your buddy. Nice to "meet" you Anita!
