In Memory of Lucy

Lucy, our 12 year old Scottish Blackface sheep, died of old age on Saturday. She came with the property when we moved here 11 years ago.
Scotties are raised primarily for meat, but after many experiments, I have found ways to use her wool. I will post a photo tomorrow.

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Awe, so sorry to hear about Lucy. I raised a Dorset sheep from a baby when I was growing up. They really are so sweet. Had to feed her from a bottle for the first few months as her mother had died suddenly.
